- Funny car bodies must be 1980 or older. All new members must submit a picture of the body they want to use for approval.
- Full side windows are prohibited. Quarter windows only. Original GLNFCC members are grandfathered in.
- Dual Chutes mandatory by 2011
- Current Safety equipment must be certified and maintained according to sanctioning body rules.
- Drivers should be both NHRA and IHRA licensed. Cars also should be tagged by both sanctioning bodies.
- No electronics such as throttles stops or fuel management systems permitted. Launch controls, air or electric shifters are permitted. Data loggers permitted for data recording only.
- Single fuel pump and single magneto only.
- There is a 7.00 E.T. cap. Cars running faster than the cap will be penalized. You will be allowed one infraction. After that you will be penalized $100.00 for each infraction.
- No work can be done under any car or when started in the pits, unless the car is supported by jack stands. The front wheels should also be supported with jack stands or ramps.
- There must be an occupant in the car when it is started in the pits.
- Membership annual dues are $225.00. Dues must be paid before the first event in which you are participating in or will be withheld from your purse.
- All teams should be ready by May 1st. If the car has not been tested before your first booking you will be replaced in that booking and must present a test time slip to be reinstated.
- Cars participating in a GLNFCC show should have hero cards.
- Teams should have matching crew shirts, plus look and act professional when on the track and in the pits.
- Drivers should do their best to put the show first,IE., side by side burnouts, backing up together and staging in a prompt manner. If there is any doubt of making a successful pass do not take the track and risk the chance of oiling the track or causing down time for the track.
- Cars will be paid on a per run basis. If you do a burnout and take the tree, it is considered a pass. There may be situations that require a shut down and pay may be adjusted for those circumstances.
- All drivers must give a one-week notice if they will not be able to attend a scheduled event due to breakage, etc. If they do not give the required notice they can be dismissed from the group. It is very important to have a commitment to the group for scheduled events and future growth of the group. All racers should do their best to keep their operations maintained and show ready at all times.
